If you love sitting down to a huge, juicy burger after a long day with an ice cold beer - we’re right there with you! Our burgers are made with fresh ½ pound choice ground sirloin, served on local bakery grilled buns. They’re topped with lettuce, tomato, and sweet red onion, plus the variety of delicious ingredients described below, and they come with a side item and a dill pickle spear.
(Sides: French fries, homemade pasta salad, potato salad, or slaw)

Schwab Burger
Basically your standard burger in all its sirloin glory, simply topped with lettuce, tomato, and sweet red onion.

Blue 'Shroom Burger
Topped with our thick blue cheese spread, sautéed mushrooms, and bacon.

Black 'N' Spicy Burger
Covered in Cajun spices, blackened and topped with roasted red pepper and pepper jack cheese.

Tex Melt
Topped with cheddar cheese, BBQ sauce, and crispy onion rings. Served on Texas Toast.

Casa Burger
Topped with cheddar cheese, bacon, and a seasoned egg over easy.

Smokin' Pastrami Burger
Topped with Swiss cheese and house smoked pastrami then finished off with onion straws and basil horseradish aioli sauce.

DID YOU KNOW?

Hamburgers got their name from Hamburg, Germany, and more specifically from a cut of beef called the Hamburg Steak. 

Americans supposedly consume 13 billion hamburgers a year, which is enough to circle the earth 32 times - and we’d believe it! This is one very popular choice! 

The Hamburger Hall of Fame is located in Seymour, WI. We wonder if they offer samples … if so, we’re up for a road trip!

Fun on the Bagnell Dam Strip!

If you haven't heard, this entire week is dedicated to the Shootout at the Lake of the Ozarks and we couldn't be more proud of such an incredible event. If you've never participated in this fun event, we would love to introduce you to all of the fun events that are happening surrounding it - including a party at Casablanca with special live music!

Shootout History

The Lake Rescue Shootout started in 1988 as an event in which many local boats participated simply to establish who had the fastest boat. As the years went by it became a bigger and bigger event that also helped supplement the Lake Area Fire Departments water rescue efforts.

NOW, the Shootout is the largest unsanctioned boat race in the US and named one of the nation’s eight “must-see” boating events according to Powerboat Magazine. The Shootout will take place for the ninth year at Captain Ron’s Bar & Grill in Sunrise Beach (Lake Road 5-50, mile marker 34.5). The event raises funds for eight Lake-area rescue teams and numerous other charitable organizations; last year, $195,000.00 to 34 different Charities and Fire Departments. The Shootout is alive and well and looking forward to the 29th year in August of 2017.

Hang Out on the Bagnell Dam Strip

While the Shootout takes place on the water, you can get out and participate in the Meet and Greet on the Strip TONIGHT, Wednesday 23rd from 5 to 10 PM. This is a fun chance to meet the drivers of the boats, take photos with your favorites, and see how COOL these boats really are up close and personal. Not to mention, it's fun to hang out on the Bagnell Dam Strip with all of the other people to enjoy this event. Of course ... let's not forget that your favorite restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks is located on the Bagnell Dam Strip as well!

Celebrating Family History Month

We LOVE our family, and our family is YOU! We have such a great group of customers who enjoy hanging out with us for lunch or dinner any and every day of the week. While some of you have been dining with us for only a short while, we have so many customers who have been with us for DECADES! As a way of celebrating our Casablanca Family History, we have some fun facts for you about our restaurant! Do you have fun memories of our family history?? We want to hear YOUR stories!

The Casablanca History

Did you know that we have a very LONG history at the Lake of the Ozarks? The building that our restaurant resides in was built in 1928 - and we've been Casablanca since the 1930's (with a short break during the late 90's where it was called Slick's Biker Bar.), so our family history is quite the story! Check out our historical timeline!

1928: Building was built.

1929: Building became first Lake Ozark Post Office. 

1933: Prohibition ended and the building was turned into Casablanca.

1998: Casablanca was sold and renamed Slick's Biker Bar.

2003: Building was bought back by prior Casablanca customer and renamed back to Casablanca.

2004: Casablanca was sold to Eddie Jordan who ran it until 2012.

2012: Brick Brothers purchased the building from Eddie on Jan 20, 2012.

2012: Mayor declared Jan 20th Eddie Jordan day in Lake Ozark with parade and police escort.

2013: Basement was remodeled and turned into Casagrotto.

Fun Facts About Casablanca

When a restaurant has been around as long as Casablanca has, there's bound to be some fun facts to share! Check out these fun ones that you can tell others over a beer at the best bar at the Lake of the Ozarks.

1. The basement was a speakeasy during prohibition - which is a tad bit different from the delicious pizza place at the Lake of the Ozarks that is has become now!

2. The walls and floors of our Lake of the Ozarks restaurant are from cut down trees during the construction of the dam.

3. Casablanca is the oldest bar in Lake of the Ozarks.

4. In the 1930's Bonnie and Clyde were known to frequent this establishment.

5. There are 27 TV's in Casablanca and it has a dedicated 15 ton A/C unit for upstairs.

6. The POW WOW PUB sign on the patio is the original one from the hotel bar.

7. Brick Brothers purchased Casablanca on New Year's Eve evening while drinking with Eddie.

Your favorite day of the year is finally here - BEER DAY! While we know you don't need an *excuse* to drink beer, this is always a fun way to pretend you need an excuse *wink*. At Casablanca in Lake Ozark, we know a thing or two about beer, and we take it pretty seriously. We have over 15 craft beers on tap, and the kegs of beer are kept at 28 degrees. They are then pumped through our glycol system which brings your favorite flavors to your frosted glass at 24 degrees - but enough of the beer science! Did you know that the world's longest hangover lasted four weeks after a Scotsman consumed SIXTY pints of beer??

Beer was not considered an alcoholic beverage in Russia until 2013.

Celebrate Hot Dog Day!

Did you know that July 19th is Hot Dog Day? The perfect summer time feast gets a whole day to celebrate, and whether you like them with just ketchup and mustard or the works - we're glad to dedicate a day to this popular food. Here at Casablanca, we are FAMOUS for our Casadogs. If you're ready for some incredible flavors and a great reason to come out to Casablanca for dinner - we've got it all right here!

Fun Facts About Hot Dogs

Did you ever think that there could be fun things to know about these linked sausage-like foods? Well, there are! Here are a few fun things to know about hot dogs that you can share while sitting around our table eating them.

The Origin is Unknown

While sausage and linked sausage has been around for a while, the theory of putting that sausage in a bun and serving it hasn't. Of course, the real origin is completely unknown - but that doesn't mean many try to claim it! The officials in Frankfurt, Germany say that hot dogs were invented in their city in 1487. Another tale is that a butcher named Johann Georghehner, who lived in Coburg, Germany, invented the hot dog during the late 1600s, and then traveled to Frankfurt to promote his new food. N matter what the history - we're just glad someone invented them!

Do You Use Hot Dog Etiquette?

Yes, that's really a thing. Eating your hot dog isn't enough, you have to do it the "right way" according to the American meat trade associations official etiquette guide says that you shouldn't douse your hot dog with ketchup or mustard if you are over the age of 18 or eat it with a knife and fork. Do you like your hot dog on a fancy bun? That's not acceptable either. BUT, did you know that you aren't supposed to eat your hot dog on anything fancier than a paper plate? Of course, a few things that you are supposed to do when eating your hot dog are to always eat every piece of the hot dog and bun, pair it with simple drinks and sides, and always lick any condiments off of your fingers.

Hot Dogs In Space?

Yep, it's been done! Amazingly enough, astronauts on the Apollo 7 mission in 1968 didn't really like the freeze-dried ice cream that they were served, so it was removed from the space menu and became a novelty in the gift shops. Ironically, a classic meal that WAS enjoyed by the crewmembers on the Apollo 11 mission was the space hot dogs.

Americans LOVE Hot Dogs

We're not kidding, either. On July 4th, Americans enjoyed over 150 million hot dogs. Between Memorial Day and Labor Day, Americans will eat a staggering 7 BILLION hot dogs, and in 2015, U.S. supermarket customers spent more than $2.5 billion on hot dogs alone.

CHILI DOG
Similar to the Casa Dog, but minus the jalapenos. It's your classic chili cheese dog.

DAM DOG
Looking for a doggone' good time? This dog comes topped with mustard, chopped onion, green relish, sport pepper, tomato, pickle and celery salt.

NACHO DOG
This is "nacho" ordinary dog! It comes complete with cheese, tomato, lettuce, jalapeno, and sour cream!

COVE N' OUT DOG
Been out on the water all day? This may be just the dog you're looking for. Spicy brown mustard, sauerkraut, and grilled onions all combined to make the perfect flavor.
