TIMELINE
1928: The building was built.
1929: The building became the first Lake Ozark Post Office. Construction of Bagnell Dam also began during this year.
1933: Prohibition ended, and the building was turned into the Casablanca we all know and love!
1998: Casablanca was sold and renamed Slick's Biker Bar.
2003: The building was bought back by prior Casablanca customer and renamed the restaurant back to Casablanca.
2004: Casablanca was sold to Eddie Jordan, who ran it for 8 years.
2012: The Brick Brothers purchased the building from Eddie on Jan 20, 2012.
2012: The Mayor declared January 20th “Eddie Jordan Day” in Lake Ozark, complete with a parade and police escort.
2013: The basement of Casablanca was remodeled and turned into Casagrotto!

- Casablanca is the oldest bar in Lake of the Ozarks. Can you believe it?!
- The basement (now Casagrotto!) was a speakeasy during prohibition. Now, the basement also serves delicious BRICK OVEN PIZZA! With 21 of the best beers at the Lake of the Ozarks on tap, Casagrotto is more popular than ever.
- The building’s walls and floors are from cut-down trees during the construction of Bagnell Dam. Next time you stop in, take a look at the deep history, even in the walls.
- In the 1930s, Bonnie and Clyde were known to frequent this establishment.
- There are 27 TVs in Casablanca, so you’ll be sure to catch your favorite team playing.
- Casablanca has a dedicated 15 ton A/C unit for upstairs. We sure are thankful for this during these hot summer months!
- The POW WOW PUB sign on the patio is still glowing - it's the original one from the hotel bar.
- The Brick Brothers purchased Casablanca on New Year's Eve evening while drinking with Eddie. Big plans can be made over a couple of pints of our delicious beer!
